Scout Water Activity Centre (or SWAC) commenced at the former Como Sea Scout Hall in 2000. It was established to provide support facility for Groups, sections and Leaders, to enhance the Scout program, and contribute to the development of Youth.

The Centre is a Branch entity and is managed by a team of volunteers, approved by the Chief Commissioner.

Located on the river near the Canning Bridge, on the western side of the Freeway, within walking distance to bus terminals, adjacent to the Freeway bike paths, and all in a top riverside location with an exclusively operated jetty and protected waters.

There are regular visits by dolphins and other wildlife, and great bird watching in a very special environment.

Facilities include kitchen with commercial stove, BBQ, areas for tents, hot water showers, tables, benches, fridges, inside hall sleeping available, hammocks and some single bunks/beds for Leaders.

SWAC offers opportunities for Leaders to enhance regular programs and provide safe and exciting opportunities for youth members of all ages and experience, and provides access to a range of affordable equipment.

Bookings can be made via swac@scoutswa.com.au
